The Story
One More Cocoa is a boutique Canadian chocolatier founded by Kenesha Lewis in March 2021 in Whitby, Ontario. Rooted in a Jamaican proverb — "One, one cocoa, full basket" — the brand embodies gradual progress, cultural heritage, and the art of handcrafted premium chocolate.
The company launched as an online shop during the early pandemic days and expanded to a brick-and-mortar at 116 Athol Street in September 2021. Every chocolate bar is made with love in the Whitby kitchen, using fine ingredients and creative flavor combinations such as Sweet & Salty, Cookies + Cream, Minty Dark, and Lemon Poppy Seed.
One More Cocoa achieved national recognition when its Hot Chocolate Box Set became the only Canadian product featured on Oprah's Favorite Things list in 2023. The brand continues to grow through direct-to-consumer sales, workshops, and community partnerships, staying true to its mission of creating culturally inspired, artisanal chocolate experiences.
