2019 — Whiskey Morning Coffee founded
Whiskey Morning Coffee was founded in 2019 by Evan Sledge and three lifelong friends as a college project at TCU, starting with a 20 initial investment to age coffee in bourbon barrels.
2021 — Developed barrel aging process
After more than a dozen trials, the founders perfected their bourbon barrel aging process, creating a smooth whiskey-flavored coffee without the alcohol.
2023 — Approaching $1M in annual sales
Whiskey Morning Coffee was on track to do more than $1 million in sales by the end of 2023, celebrating five years of business with growing wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels.
2024 — Walmart and expanded distribution
Whiskey Morning Coffee expanded into retail channels including Walmart.com and continued growing its wholesale business through partnerships like Faire.
