Born in 1982, Keith grew up in a nomadic family as one of 13 siblings. His father, Bud Keith, was a holistic nutritionist and fitness industry pioneer who created the original Perfect Bar recipe as a healthy, on-the-go snack for his large family.
Keith attended College of the Redwoods. The business concept for Perfect Snacks originated from a business class assignment, which he developed together with his sibling Leigh Keith, based on their father Bud Keith's original whole food energy bar recipe.
