Brian DeMint's Bio

Brian DeMint is the CEO and co-founder of Salt and Light Wellness, a three-studio chain in Southern California offering red light therapy, infrared sauna, salt therapy, cold plunge, and Vitamin D sun exposure. Based in the Inland Empire, the business serves health-conscious adults who treat wellness routines as seriously as professional athletes treat their training.

DeMint founded the business in 2008 with his wife, fresh out of college, operating initially as Perfect Tan. By 2021, they rebranded to Salt and Light Wellness and refocused on full-spectrum wellness - lifting revenue by roughly 30 percent. Today the top studio generates about $575,000 a year across three locations.

Beyond the business, DeMint is a certified Christian Health Practitioner, a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and a professor at Mission Jiu-Jitsu. He serves as CMO of the Orange Pill App and in 2024, Salt and Light Wellness became an official wellness partner of California Baptist University Athletics.

In late 2024, DeMint appeared on the How I Built This Advice Line with Neil Blumenthal of Warby Parker, asking how to scale franchise inquiries - about a dozen a week - without compromising brand values.
