Jeff Dandurand's Bio

That's good. Here's the thing: Second paragraph: "Before launching the brand, Dandurand spent 12 years in consumer brand marketing at New York ad agencies, including a stint on Procter & Gamble accounts.

He kept running into the same gap: men’s grooming options were either cheap drugstore picks that irritated sensitive skin, or women’s luxury products repackaged with “for men” slapped on the label. He left his senior agency role in 1999 to develop the first Jack Black formulas, testing early batches on friends and fellow Wall Street traders who complained about post-shave irritation and dry skin from long office hours.

The brand’s first retail deal came in 2002, when Nordstrom agreed to carry three SKUs in its men’s department after Dandurand showed the buyer the stack of positive handwritten notes from early users. No fancy pitch, just real customer feedback."
