Sri Hollema

Sri Hollema grew up in developing countries as the daughter of humanitarians, where she witnessed families living without safe, reliable warmth. Makeshift shelters, toxic fumes, and bitter cold were daily realities for vulnerable communities, and those early experiences shaped her mission to create better heating solutions.

Combining her background in Product Design and Technology, Hollema founded Mat Zero to develop low-voltage heating mats that warm the person rather than the space. The company's approach focuses on safety, sustainability, and access, using reactive heat sensors that regulate temperature in response to the body and only use the energy required.

Mat Zero's products are designed to be repairable and built to last, with key components that can be replaced to extend product life and reduce waste. Made in Europe with high-quality materials, the heating systems work with battery, portable power, or mains, adapting to different environments without compromising performance.

What began as a deeply personal mission has grown into a global movement focused on reaching more people and creating better ways to stay warm. Under Hollema's leadership, Mat Zero continues to innovate in efficient, people-centered heating design.
