2020 — Company founded
David Restiano injured his hip flexor, noticed the curve of a bar of Irish Spring in the shower, and realized it could work as a muscle scraping tool. He called Dr. Dan Staats and they launched SORSOAP.
2021 — First $100K in sales
SORSOAP grew from $16,000 in first-year sales to $120,000 in the third year, crossing the $100,000 milestone as word spread among athletes and physical therapists.
2023 — Shark Tank deal
David Restiano and Dr. Dan Staats appeared on Shark Tank Season 15 and secured a $100,000 investment from Mark Cuban for 10 percent of the business.
2023 — Vitamin Shoppe partnership
After the Shark Tank airing, SORSOAP landed its biggest retail deal to date with Vitamin Shoppe and released the portable SORTOOL Pro muscle scraping tool.
