Ahmed Ejaz

Ahmed Ejaz is the founder and CEO of Cambridge Spectacle Co., a UK-based eyewear brand focused on high-quality glasses at accessible prices.

An optometrist by training, Ahmed spent roughly ten years in eye care before launching Cambridge Spectacle Co. He started the company to offer a credible alternative to expensive designer frames, emphasizing clear design, good materials, and straightforward pricing.

Under his leadership, the brand expanded from its Cambridge roots to multiple locations, including a new Hornsey, London branch that created five local jobs. The company also grew through acquisition, adding Glimpse Opticians in December 2024.

Ahmed has been profiled in industry and startup coverage as an example of founder-led retail growth, and he remains active as both CEO and public face of the business.
