Jessica Liu is the founder of Jessica Liu | formerly Petit Anjou, an independent jewelry studio based in Southern California.
Before launching her brand, Liu practiced law as a litigator and worked in corporate legal roles, including at McDermott Will & Emery LLP and Enterprise Counsel Group. During a leave after her children were born, she began exploring metalsmithing and taught herself jewelry design, inspired by the lack of modern pieces that were both visually distinctive and comfortable for sensitive skin.
In 2021, Liu officially launched Petit Anjou, designing sculptural fine and demi-fine jewelry crafted in precious metals such as sterling silver and 18k gold vermeil. Her work emphasizes organic form, texture, and lost-wax casting, with pieces meant to feel refined without being overly formal.
Under her leadership, the brand has been featured in outlets including The Story Exchange, Voyage LA, Shoutout LA, Rio Grande, National Jeweler, and JCK. Liu continues to focus on craftsmanship, customer experience, and community-driven growth from her studio in Newport Coast.
