Maggie MacDonald's Bio
Maggie MacDonald is the founder of Floofball, a female-owned pet brand that creates soccer-themed dog toys and accessories, from plush soccer balls to matching team bandanas. Based in the Atlanta area, she designs products that let soccer fans share their club loyalty with their dogs.
Before founding Floofball, Maggie attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and went on to hold senior roles at KPMG, McDonald's Corporation, and The Coca-Cola Company. Those years in corporate strategy and operations gave her the discipline to build something from nothing.
Maggie founded Floofball in April 2023, launching as a solo founder out of Atlanta. She designed the products, managed marketing, and fulfilled early orders herself. The brand's playful dog-themed twist on soccer merchandise caught on quickly — early collections like the Liverpool-inspired Liver Pooch toy went viral within the pet and soccer fan communities.
Under Maggie's leadership, Floofball expanded from direct-to-consumer sales to wholesale distribution through Faire.com and secured a spot on Chewy.com, validating both product quality and operational standards. By 2025, the brand had grown into a full soccer kit line and Maggie appeared on the HIBT Advice Line with Jon Stein of Betterment to talk through the challenge of rising DTC marketing costs.
Maggie was named a 2026 TJX x Fashion Scholarship Fund Scholar and continues to lead Floofball as it builds toward becoming the defining sports brand for pets.
