Melita Cyril's Bio
Melita Cyril founded Q for Quinn to create organic, chemical-free socks and underwear after her son's eczema revealed how many everyday clothes contain harsh chemicals. The brand, named for her children, started with socks and expanded into tights and underwear for the whole family.
A Rotman MBA and former derivatives trader and management consultant, Melita brings analytical rigor from her finance career to sustainable fashion. She launched Q for Quinn in 2016 from New York, where she lives with her husband and three children.
