Sarah Weihman
Sarah Weihman, a former NCAA Division I athlete and architect, founded Paradis Sport in 2021. The Connecticut-based brand creates performance underwear for women, focused on fit and sustainability.
Sarah Weihman's Bio
Sarah Weihman founded Paradis Sport because she was tired of underwear that didn't work. As a former Division I athlete, she knew female athletes needed a first layer that stayed put—and the market wasn't delivering.
Her own athletic career began at Dartmouth, where she competed in three Division I sports—field hockey, lacrosse, and a third discipline—while studying Art History, English, and French. That mix of athletics and design shaped how she sees problems: analytically, but with an artist's eye for what feels right.
For 23 years, Sarah ran an architectural and landscape design practice, solving spatial problems for clients. Then, in 2021, she turned that design thinking toward a new foundation: the base layer athletes wear every day.
The insight hit her during a run, of all things. Most performance underwear is designed by men, for men's bodies. For women, especially those who move hard and fast, that mismatch creates constant distraction. Sarah decided to build the alternative herself.
Paradis Sport launched fully bootstrapped, with Sarah and her team prototyping until they got the fit just right. The brand remains focused on one mission: outfitting female athletes to perform their best, starting with what's closest to their skin.
She still runs the company as CEO, and you'll find her signature on every order: "With gratitude, Sarah Founder & CEO". It's a small reminder that this is one founder's obsession, turned into a product.
