Scott Tannen's Bio

Scott Tannen is the Founder & CEO of Boll & Branch, the world's first Fair Trade-certified luxury bedding company. He launched the brand in 2014 with his wife Missy after their own search for high-quality sheets exposed the exploitative practices of the traditional textile industry. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Scott worked as a video game maker, bringing a disruptive, consumer-first mindset to the surprisingly opaque world of bedding manufacturing. Under his leadership, Boll & Branch has grown from a direct-to-consumer startup into a globally recognized lifestyle brand that proves ethical sourcing and luxury are not mutually exclusive. The company's focus on fair trade, organic cotton, and radical transparency has redefined what "good sheets" can mean—for both customers and the farmers who grow the cotton. Today, Boll & Branch operates retail stores and continues to expand its product line while maintaining its core mission of doing business differently.
