William Carroll

Will Carroll is the founder and president of Tool Club, a Cincinnati-based tool rental company that delivers pro-grade power tools right to your door. The service caters to both DIY homeowners and professional contractors, offering free delivery and pickup along with flexible daily and weekly rates. By removing the need to buy expensive tools or drive to a traditional rental counter, Tool Club aims to make professional-grade equipment accessible to anyone with a project.

Before launching Tool Club, Carroll spent over four years at PXG (Parsons Xtreme Golf) in Cincinnati, where he ran shop operations for the premium golf retailer. Prior to PXG, he spent seven years competing and working in PGA South Florida, gaining deep experience in customer service and operations at the professional level. A University of Cincinnati graduate (Class of 2010), Carroll built Tool Club out of a simple frustration: owning every tool you need is wildly expensive, and traditional rental shops feel stuck in another era.

His solution — a curated catalog of premium brands like DeWalt and EGO, paired with transparent pricing and no-hassle logistics — quickly resonated with the Cincinnati market. Carroll's background in both golf and retail gave him a firsthand view of how small frustrations compound into big problems for customers, and he designed Tool Club to eliminate those pain points entirely. Today, the company continues to expand its reach while staying true to its original mission of simplifying access to professional tools.
