FoodPlay Productions is an Emmy Award-winning nutrition education theater company founded by Barbara Storper, MS, RD, in 1982. Based in Hatfield, Massachusetts, the organization combines live theater, juggling, music, magic, and audience participation to teach children about healthy eating and active living.

Storper, a nutritionist and journalist, created FoodPlay to counter the junk food marketing that targets children. The company's signature school assembly program uses energetic performances and hands-on activities to make nutrition education memorable and fun. Over the past four decades, FoodPlay has reached more than five million children and families across the United States.

The company's work has earned ten national nutrition awards plus an Emmy Award for Best Children and Youth TV Special. FoodPlay offers virtual programming, dynamic video kits, and curricula alongside its live touring shows, adapting its approach as schools' needs have changed. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the team developed live-streamed shows and continues to explore digital and social media options to keep the mission alive for new generations.
