Props Luggage was born from a very personal problem. Maggie Gerth, a mother of four, spent years traveling with her family and hitting the same wall: six people, one luggage rack, and suitcases stacked on bathroom floors because hotel rooms rarely had enough storage. Rather than accept that limitation, Gerth spent four years designing a better solution.

The result is the PROPS leg system, a patent-pending innovation that extends from the bottom of the carry-on to create a full-height, freestanding luggage rack. The legs deploy in seconds and lock into place, turning any PROPS suitcase into a compact wardrobe station, impromptu desk, or elevated storage surface. The 22" Graphite Carry-On is built from lightweight polycarbonate with dual-spinner wheels for smooth maneuvering. A matching PROPS Weekender Bag slides over the Carry-On handle for overhead stowage, while the 26" Graphite Check-In scales the same leg system to checked-baggage size.

Props Luggage, LLC was formally launched in Hinsdale, Illinois around 2023 and debuted at Travel Goods 2024, where it was recognized as one of the most innovative luggage designs since the introduction of wheeled suitcases. Every PROPS product is engineered with the leg system as its defining feature, because Gerth believes luggage should work as hard as the traveler does.
