Aubrey O'Laskey's Bio
Aubrey O'Laskey is a chef and co-owner of Transparent Hospitality, the parent company of Perenn Bakery, Claio Rotisserie, and Perenn Grocery. After meeting her husband Tyler at the Culinary Institute of America, the couple launched their careers as private chefs in Lake Tahoe before building Butter + Salt, a celebrated catering company in Reno.
In November 2018, they opened Perenn Bakery as an 800-square-foot side project in Reno's Midtown district. What began as a way to source better bread for their catering clients quickly became a beloved local institution. The bakery expanded to multiple Reno locations, including a spot at the Nevada Museum of Art, and later crossed state lines with a Nashville debut in Franklin's historic Boathouse.
Under Aubrey's leadership, Transparent Hospitality has grown to include Claio Rotisserie and Perenn Grocery, creating a vertically integrated food group that nourishes the community with craft sourdough, rotisserie cuisine, and curated market products. Their expansion from Reno to Nashville reflects a commitment to bringing daily ritual and local ingredients to new communities.
