Carrie Gross's Bio

Carrie Gross is the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare. She began her career in fashion, working as a merchandising director and buyer for Nordstrom, where she developed a deep understanding of consumer behavior and product aesthetics.

After 12 years in fashion, she left to co-found the skincare line with her husband, Dr. Dennis Gross, in 2000. The brand launched as MD Skincare, offering clinical-grade products that bridged the gap between dermatologist offices and consumer retail.

Over the next two decades, Carrie shaped the brand's visual identity, product philosophy, and creative direction, helping it grow into a nine-figure brand sold at Sephora, Nordstrom, and globally. In 2010, the brand was renamed Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare. In 2023, Shiseido acquired the company for approximately $450 million. Carrie continues to lead creative and brand strategy, drawing inspiration from her global travels and the brand's loyal community.
