Kerri Jones is the Co-Founder and President of Peaked Pies, an Australian bakery cafe specializing in gourmet Australian meat pies and artisan coffee with locations in Whistler, Vancouver, and Burnaby.
Originally from Australia, Kerri moved to Whistler, Canada in 2009 seeking a Canadian winter in the mountains. It was there she met Alex Relf, a snowboarder from Victoria, who would become her husband and business partner. Missing the taste of authentic Australian meat pies from home, she saw an opportunity to bring a piece of Australia to Canada.
In 2013, Kerri and Alex launched Peaked Pies in Whistler, starting with no restaurant experience and facing numerous rejections from banks. They persevered, building a beloved local brand known for handmade savory and sweet pies. The business expanded from a single Whistler location into multiple outlets across British Columbia, including Vancouver and Burnaby, and grew into franchise operations under Peaked Pies Franchise Corp.
As the "Aussie heart and soul" of Peaked Pies, Kerri oversees the brand's continued growth while making sure every pie delivers a taste of home for expats and a novel experience for Canadians.
