Lindsey Gallas

Lindsey Gallas is the Co-Founder of Math Medic, an education technology company providing free lesson plans and curriculum for high school math teachers. She co-founded the company with Luke Wilcox after teaching high school mathematics at East Kentwood High School in Kentwood, Michigan. Math Medic now serves over 100,000 teachers across the United States with courses in Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and AP Statistics.

Before teaching high school, Lindsey spent her first five years teaching middle school math, where she spent countless hours developing materials that would engage her students. Her early experience building lesson plans by hand shaped her understanding of what teachers actually need in the classroom.

Lindsey and Luke launched Stats Medic in 2015 with a simple goal: build an engaging introductory statistics course for their own students. The resource caught on quickly with other teachers and grew into a full suite of math resources. Stats Medic eventually rebranded as Math Medic, expanding far beyond its original statistics focus.

The Math Medic Foundation, co-founded by Lindsey and Luke in 2021, extends their mission beyond curriculum. The nonprofit awards student scholarships, provides teacher grants for professional development, and supports schools with math resources. Lindsey serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the foundation, helping direct funds toward increasing equitable access to high-quality mathematics education.
