Nick Harmon's Bio
Nick Harmon is the co-founder of Randomals, a Sun Valley, Idaho-based company that creates whimsical composite animal plush figures, beanies, and award-winning books. Originally from the United Kingdom, Harmon moved to the United States in 1992 and settled in Sun Valley, Idaho, where he has lived for more than three decades.
Before launching Randomals, Harmon built a professional background in creative work, brand development, and product storytelling. Those skills became the foundation for a company built around imaginative characters and meaningful narratives.
In 2018, Harmon co-founded Randomals with his brother Oliver Harmon. The company launched with a line of plush figures and beanies built around mixed-species creatures, each with its own personality. Signature characters like the Framal, a frog-camel composite, embody the brand's playful approach to design.
Randomals later expanded into award-winning children's books that reinforce its core message: what makes us different makes all of the difference in the world. The brand grew from a small creative project into a nationally recognized name with retail distribution and a loyal community of readers and collectors.
Harmon appeared on the How I Built This Advice Line with Guy Raz and Monica Nassif to share the Randomals story. Under his leadership, the company continues to develop new animal combinations and deepen its market presence.
